Hi, I have been learning Mandarin for a couple years, mostly in an unstructured way, i.e. just by having conversations with a teacher, who I help with English. I'm probably intermediate level. I am a Neuroscience Professor, and I have a lot of teaching experience teaching, including with many Chinese graduate students. Because of this, I am familiar with the problems faced by Mandarin speakers learning English. I'd be happy to talk to people about pretty much any subject, I find lots of things interesting!
