Hello, I am Simon. I am a German, living in Korea.
I am trying to learn Korean, so I would like to practice it with a language exchange partner. I am also always happy to make new friends.
I made TOPIK level 2, but my listening comprehension and speaking are on a low level, therefore I am also open to meet in a cafe in Seoul and just talk.
My German is native, but I also confidently speak fluent English.

우크라이나어Ich bin gerne auf dem Weg eine neue Sprache zu erlernen !
Das mit dem Afrikaans kommt aus meiner Leidenschaft zu Holland, klingt komisch, ist aber so. Aber auch die vielen Jahre im südlichen Afrika !
Und die ukrainische Sprache. Schwer zu erlernen, denn ich kann die Buchstaben nicht umsetzen und so diese Sprache erlernen. Doch der Wunsch in der Ukraine teilweise zu Leben steht schon lange fest.
Und dazu möchte ich diese Sprache sprechen und verstehen können !

Hey, my German name is Verena, but you can also call me 游晗. I'm a native German speaker, who is fluent in English, looking for someone to practice languages with. I'm mostly focusing on Chinese (Mandarin (simplified)) & my current level is around HSK4-5 / B1. My French is roughly at an A2 level. I also dabble in Korean and Swahili, but I am definitely putting more effort into Mandarin and French.
I graduated from law school seven years ago (studied political science and law) and I'm now working full time.
My hobbys are: reading (fiction (novels), non-fiction, sometimes poetry), listening to music (Indie, Alternative, Folk, Rock, Pop, Classical music, Jazz), painting/drawing (mostly aquarell), cooking (plant-based) and baking, playing the Ukulele/Piano (though not as much as I want to), jogging and going to the gym, watching dramas (I tell myself it's for language learning purposes...) and, of course, learning languages. I also developed a strong love for houseplants over the last couple of months and my apartment looks more and more like a small urban jungle.

my name is Torben and I am from Northern Germany. Currently I am living in Beijing, China. I am a physicist conducting research in theoretical physics (I know for some people this may sound scary but I like it). Besides physics and mathematics I like reading, listening to music, and watching movies/series. I am interested in Chinese, Korean and Japanese culture (and maybe would like to stay there for doing research). Thus I would like to learn Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. While my Chinese is already advanced enough to have very short conversations, unfortunately in Korean and Japanese I am currently only at the beginner level. Thus I would like to find somebody for doing language exchange. If you would like to learn German or also English (I may not be a native speaker but fluent enough to help you practise) please feel free to message me. In addition, I would be happy to improve my English. I am quite fluent but sometimes I have the tendency to mix up words which are similar in German and English but have different meanings (e.g., "irritating" and "irritierend [confusing]") and it would be nice to get some help to prevent this from happening. If you would like to talk about physics or astronomy please feel free to message me as well.
When you write me it would be nice if you could write a short introduction. I am usually really bad at answering short messages and thus it would help me to write a proper answer. Please also do not send a "Hi" since I do not really know how to respond to that.
Note that currently I am rather busy and may not be able to reply immediately.
