Hi! I'm 26 years old and I'm from Finland. Currently I work as a pediatric nurse. I speak Finnish, English, some Swedish and I studied Spanish for 3 years in high school (I understand more than I can speak). I'd like to learn Korean, and maybe talk to someone in Spanish so I wouldn't forget the language completely. Would also be nice to just speak English with someone :) As an opposite to my busy work atmosphere, I enjoy relaxing in my free time, for example playing games or watching series. Hi my name is Jere, I'm from Finland and I'm currently looking for someone to practice Mandarin Chinese with. I'm a PGT student at The University of Glasgow, but I'm currently living in Edinburgh. I took Mandarin classes at university for 4 years and then took a break from studying Mandarin for a while. My current level is around HSK 3 or B1, and I'm especially looking to practice my spoken Mandarin. My native language is Finnish, and I've been speaking English ever since i was little so I can help in both of these! I would prefer having a couple of sessions a week to make practice consistent, either live at a cafe or during a walk, or via video call. I'm personally into gaming and reading so if you are too that's even better! Hello, I'm a Finnish university student who likes studying languages. I enjoy talking to people and teaching about all manners of things. I'm looking to primarily study Chinese and Japanese, and in exchange I can help you learn any of my spoken languages. I have a day job designing electronics, but I like to spend my off time creating things, sometimes in an artistic sense and sometimes actually physically building fun little projects. I occasionally play video games, but with uni and work I have barely any time for that anymore. But I do have time for the weekly Mahjong Friday I hold with my friends. I used to do bouldering, but I had some complications with my back so I no longer do it. When it comes to languages, I love both learning and teaching, so feel free to hit me up even if you don't speak any of the languages I'm actively seeking to learn. Hi, I am Finnish language enthusiast currently living in Helsinki. I would personally consider my self a self-taught linguist. I am native Swedish and Finnish Speaker (C2), have C1 in English, and B1 in Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. My Vietnamese is quite poor and German is okay A2. I am aiming to pass all the JLPT-tests. I will start from N5. in 2025 I plan to attend HSK3 and maybe HSKK middle level. At some point I would also like to have a grade 3 in TOPIK (Korean language test) I have been to university exchange in South Korea twice (Hallym University, 08-12/2016; Kyung Hee University 08/2020-05/2021) and lately I returned from a 9 month stay attending Chinese classes at National Taiwan Normal University (08/2023-05/2024). I have also travelled to Hong Kong, Japan, and Vietnam for some 2-3 days each. Studying languages and meeting people in the process is a life style choice I made at the age of 22 (now I am 32). I am happy to help people in learning languages so if that is what you want we could meet and then I see what I can do.

Hello! Bonjour! I am a Finnish woman who is currently studying musical theatre (comédie musicale). I worked in France as an aupair but unfortunately, I never achieved the French level I dreamed of! I am looking for someone who would be open to talk with me and correct me if I make mistakes. I am not looking for a teacher since I already have one, we can talk about everyday life and improve our skills as we go! I am also interested in nature and animals (I have a degree in Zoology), spirituality and Eastern philosophy (although these topics are a bit above my current French level so I might not be able to speak about them just yet), and the arts (theatre, music, dance). As for my goals with French; I am aiming to pass a DELF B2 exam in order to be able to study music in either France or Switzerland in the future. I would love to find someone who is comfortable with speaking over video call/Zoom (10-15 min doesn't have to be long) regularly as speaking is my weakest skill.
