Bonjour - My name is Tom. I am a 52 years old Architect and have been teaching myself French off and on for a few of years. I live in the woods overlooking the beautifuly Wye Valley in Wales with my wife and two teenage children. As most of the French I have learnt has been from books, I am looking to improve my conversational French. I am pretty easy going and happy to talk about anything.

Comme la plupart du français que j'ai appris l'a été dans des livres, je cherche à améliorer mon français conversationnel. Je suis assez facile à vivre et heureux de parler de n'importe quoi. I am currently seeking a native Italian speaker to practice my Italian while my current language partner is taking a pause. I’m retired, travel often to France and more recently, Italy. I don’t have too much availability so am just able to handle one exchange at the present moment. I’m a gardener, work out most days, follow the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza and am happiest hanging out with my family and friends in beautiful Southern California. I have been helping a Parisian with his English for the past 8 years (who’s taking a pause)& an Italian from Milano for the past year (ongoing), sadly he is not that available because of a new job. I am a native English speaker and would characterize my Italian as intermediate, B-1 level.

I enjoy watching movies and dramas, especially J-dramas. My favorite music genres are pop, R&B, hip-hop, and EDM, but I also listen to jazz occasionally. In my free time, I like to play guitar, read books, and paint.
