Hello! I'm 35 years old, and I make my living writing about science for non-specialist audiences. I studied the Spanish language in college, and lived abroad in Spain for a year. After a long break, I returned to Spain over the last few years, and found my Spanish to be quite rusty! Upon returning from my most recent trip, I feel motivated to make sure I speak enough Spanish to maintain a high level. I'm a native English speaker - and speak a little Bosnian, too :). I'd love to find a native Spanish speaker that I can get to know through natural, organic conversations where we help one another with our respective language goals. I don't need anyone with prior teaching experience, just someone who is patient and happy to have conversations. Outside of work, I spend most of my time rock climbing or training for rock climbing. Beyond that, I also enjoy writing, reading, and connecting with others.

I've been seriously studying German for one year and I've been seriously studying Russian for over two years in the long life pursuit of becoming fluent. I want to learn the language since many of my friends and former coworkers speak it. I live north of Seattle, Washington, USA.
