Hi, I’m Chenyi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China and an ESL teacher with an advanced level of English (IELTS band 8). I’m patient, friendly, and love learning about different cultures.
I’d like to make friends with native English speakers to improve my fluency and sound more natural. As a mum of a 4-year-old girl, I also hope to speak more English at home so she can grow up bilingual.
I have some experience teaching Mandarin when I studied for my MA TESOL in England, so I’d be happy to help you with your Chinese in return!

Hello! I’m a native Mandarin speaker, currently studying in Italy. I understand English and Italian, but my speaking skills are quite poor :(. So, I hope to find a language partner who speaks either English or Italian. I'm also interested in Russian (someday I will learn it!). Ciao! Sono madrelingua cinese e attualmente sto studiando in Italia. Capisco l'inglese e l'italiano, ma il mio parlato è davvero pessimo :(. Quindi, spero di trovare un partner linguistico che parli inglese o italiano. Sono anche interessata al russo (un giorno lo imparerò!). Quindi, se sei madrelingua russo e parli inglese, sarai il benvenuto a chiacchierare con me! I miei interessi sono abbastanza vari, includono cinema, lettura, giochi, manga, anime... e alcune conoscenze strane e di nicchia. Quindi, immagino che non ci mancheranno argomenti di cui parlare!

so far, I have completed the second part of Russian course in duolingo and have been studying for 133 days.
I consider myself a bookworm, having read for a total of 600 hours last year. I enjoy thrillers and horror novels, particularly reading them after midnight💀💀
This year, I plan to continue Goodreads Reading Challenge
I will read 50 books（possibly more than 50）, including non-fiction and historical novels
