I’m Tori, I’m from Abingdon near Oxford. I’m a nutritionist, currently writing a book. I like to cook, go to the gym, do yoga, play tennis and chess (poorly!), and I have been learning French with the language app Pimsleur for a couple of months. I’m a beginner and would like to meet people to practice conversation in French for the very first time! As an Engineer and I spent 30 years designing MRI magnets for medical scanners as used in hospitals. The last job I had was at CERN in Geneva where I worked on the update for the Large Hadron Collider. Since I retired 4 years ago I spend my time walking, playing squash and pickleball. I also have 4 grandchildren which keeps me (and my wife) fairly busy. I am very fond of France and the French culture and language and can speak it reasonably well after having spent 4 years in Geneva. I want to continue to improve it and is the reason why I would like to speak with some Skype Francophones. I would welcome a French/ English language exchange but with someone who can already speak reasonably good English.
