hello my name is Omar, I'm from Egypt but was born and raised in the gulf countries. I'm currently working part time as a lab technician at my university till I graduate. I make time for things I enjoy like going to the gym, watching movies at the weekends, and cycling in the evenings.
I have interests in a variety of topics from language learning, languages, philosophy, history, finance, volunteering, and technology. Right now, I'm self studying German and would like to improve my speaking. I would be excited to speak with you on Skype or Zoom or another meeting platform. I've already passed the A1 Goethe Institute exam and have an easier time understanding than speaking although I can maintain a basic conversation.
In return, I can help you with speaking English or Arabic. While I'm not technically a native speaker of English, I had almost all my schooling and higher education exclusively in English and have quite a good command of the language just like a native would have. Also, naturally my mother tongue is Arabic although I might be what is called a heritage speaker.
