Je m'appelle Jeff, j'ai 39 ans.
J'apprends le français depuis quelques années, mais j'ai arrêté en cours de route. J'ai décidé de le reprendre, en particulier pour améliorer mon français parlé.
J'aime faire du sport, comme courir, nager et pratiquer d'autres activités en plein air.
Je cours tous les deux jours, avec une allure moyenne d'environ 5 minutes par kilomètre. J'ai réussi à finir quelques marathons.
En plus, j'aime voyager et regarder des séries télévisées. J'ai travaillé au Népal, en Thaïlande, en Inde, au Cambodge, au Vietnam, aux Philippines, en Malaisie. Parmi ces pays, j'adore particulièrement les Philippines, où j'ai travaillé à de nombreuses reprises, une dizaine de fois environ, pour les plages parfaits là-bas. J'aimer les cultures asiatiques. D'ailleurs, j'ai appris quelques bases des langues des tous les pays que j'ai visités, mais finalement, je n'ai réussi à maîtriser que quelques mots et phrases. Les langues asiatiques sont très difficiles, surtout lorsqu'elles ont des systèmes d'écriture différents.
Je cherche un ou une partenaire linguistique qui parle français et souhaite pratiquer son chinois.

I've been consistently self-learning English since 10+ yrs after school. But you don't have to be one if you're a language learner as well. Having someone to practice the language is very cool, but in my experience not very lasting. So I'll cherish my every single chance talking to other people.

I re-edited the profile and here's the part I wanna keep from the former one, cause I still like the analogy.
Using Chinese is like living in a fortress besieged. That's to say it's hard for both those who want to exit or enter, since it's an ancient (but not necessarily good or efficient), still phono-pictographic language. Learning another language means a lot to me, seeing things from a different perspective every now and then is just so... refreshing!
