Hi my name is Jere, I'm from Finland and I'm currently looking for to improve my Mandarin skills. I'm currently a PGT student in Scotland studying psychology. I took Mandarin classes at university for 4 years, and right now I'm studying independently. My current level is around HSK 3 or B1, and I'm especially looking to practice my spoken Mandarin. My native language is Finnish, and I've been speaking English ever since i was little so I can help with both of these! Hi, I have been trying to learn French for 6 months, but I don’t think I’m progressing as well as I would like. I set realistic goals. I was aiming to be A2 level by 6months and A2/B1 within a year, but I have not made any improvement. Instead of just using language apps I have been listing to French radio, reading simple French articles and watching French tv shows to boost my learning. I do a French activity everyday. Despite this, I am still at an A1 level :( Either French is too difficult for me, or I need a different approach. I do not want to give up. Im hoping a native French speaker would help me with my language journey!
