Hola soy Yvonne. I’ve been learning Spanish on Duolingo since 2021 and occasionally watch Spanish films and love to read Spanish. I’m probably intermediate level. I’m not aiming to get to advanced level but would love to be able to improve my speaking as it’s sort of OK but definitely not great. I love my job in maternal mental health. I love gardening, playing badminton, walking, nature. I’m married with 2 daughters in their 20s. I’m often quite mischievous and have a good sense of humour. 😄 I am very happy to help with your English.

I am a visiting researcher in Edinburgh, and I would like to improve my English. I have noticed that people here in Edinburgh speak various forms of English, so I want to better understand them and make myself understood. Additionally, I have studied Spanish and Chinese by listening to Japanese educational radio programs for a few years, but I have rarely used them. As a result, my level is beginner, and I would like to practice speaking both Spanish and Chinese.
