I'm a native Chinese speaker who can tell the difference between a variety of language registers, so I may be able to meet your various needs about this language.
In English, I can read books, news, blogs, academic papers, and movie captions, but I'm not good at listening or speaking. So I'd like to practice.
I live in Hangzhou, a beautiful city of China. I have a wide range of interests, like playing soccer, watching movies and TV shows, reading, raising a cat, cooking, and listening to music from various genres such as classical, jazz, rock, folk, and rap.
We could practice like this, using Wechat/Skype/Whatsapp/Zoom and talking on a given topic each time for 15 minutes in English and 15 minutes in Chinese. And, as a prelude to our conversation, we can write emails about the topic. Or you can propose your preferred method of practice.
