Hi, I'm Poppy,
I live in Yokohama. I seriously do not want to leave Japan. I am retired, but have been an artist, an engineer, a computer programmer, a photographer, a musician, and probably more. My interests are studying Japanese (obsessively), manga, anime, and the music that goes with them. I speak in flawless, but idiosyncratic, English.
I would like to learn with a female native Japanese speaker. My current Japanese level is low (it takes me a long time to form sentences), but I am very motivated. Ideally, I would like to learn with a woman with whom we can become friends. It is easier for me to talk in person than to a computer screen, but we need to start somewhere.
