My name is Simon, I am single with a very youthful outlook, and was born and raised in England and now live in Australia, on the beautiful sunny west coast in Perth, where we have a great climate, lovely beaches on the Indian Ocean and a very outdoors lifestyle, and are very relaxed and easygoing. I am an artist now, after having careers in teaching, government welfare and graphic design. I love to draw portraits and caricatures, and paint figures and landscapes, and I love abstract art, and expressionism. I am looking for a new home with room for a studio. I learned Italian at school and love to travel to Europe, and French is a beautiful language I have always wanted to speak, as I studied European history at university and British history, where French was used widely in the past, and it is also a very romantic language, like Italian. I love to go cycling, swimming at the beach, playing golf, and bush and mountain walking, as well as travelling - I would love to see more of France and speak their language. I am very interested in Art Histroy and love galleries and museums. I am a Christian, and also love the architecture in Europe, especially the old churches and cathedrals, and castles. I have also studied ancient history and the Bible and have plans to visit Greece and the Middle East for it's rich history. My favourite places so far are southern Spain and Italy, and would live to ride a motorbike across the US one day, as I love motorcycles, and fast cars! I like to read non-fiction, poetry and history books, as well as the Bible. ai live alone but love to socialise, and enjoy music of many styles. I play classical, Spanish and folk guitar.
