I took one university (really) basic Mandarin course and am now learning it on my own whenever I have some free time. So it's really not good right now. But I want to improve even if it takes a while. (I saw a study that said if I learn for 2 hours every week, it will take me 12 years to learn Mandarin as a German speaker. ๐
