Hello,
My name is Derek and I'm from the USA. I am looking for others to practice my Russian with. I have been studying Russian for about 4 years now and would like help with my speaking and listening. My level is between A1 and A2.
In my free time I like to read, write, and draw. I enjoy watching films, especially those of Leonid Gaidai. I enjoy Japanese Anime and Manga. I enjoy all types of films; American, French, Russian.
I am interested in traveling, languages, history and mythology. I hope to travel to Russia one day and learn more about Russian history and culture.

I live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. I love being outside and going hiking in the mountains. It has been my life long goal to learn French so I am doing that now. My name is Chris and I'm studying English Literature in the US with the goal of teaching English in a Muslim country. I grew up in Egypt until I was 7 and Zambia until I was 18, although I've lost all of the Arabic I learned when I was 7. I love to read, hangout with my cat, hike, and learn about Islam. I'm in the early stages of becoming Muslim and I hope to learn Arabic so I can pray better and read the Quran, but also because I want to connect with Muslims in Palestine and around the world. I know barely any Arabic, so our conversations would have to be in English for now. I'm looking to connect with someone who feels comfortable talking to a beginner. Free Palestine!
