My name is Chris and I'm studying English Literature in the US with the goal of teaching English in a Muslim country. I grew up in Egypt until I was 7 and Zambia until I was 18, although I've lost all of the Arabic I learned when I was 7. I love to read, hangout with my cat, hike, and learn about Islam. I'm in the early stages of becoming Muslim and I hope to learn Arabic so I can pray better and read the Quran, but also because I want to connect with Muslims in Palestine and around the world. I know barely any Arabic, so our conversations would have to be in English for now. I'm looking to connect with someone who feels comfortable talking to a beginner. Free Palestine!
