Hello all, I am a native French speaker from Montreal and lived in New York since 2004, where I moved for a Ph.D. in philosophy. Life is full of surprises and I am now a real estate advisor in Manhattan! I love cycling (a lot!) and I am currently brushing up my Spanish and German while learning Italian and Russian. I just returned from a wonderful trip in Japan. I always loved the culture growing up and I love it even more! My Japanese was limited. I was able to communicate with locals, but I want to do better! I want to have actual conversations with people. I hope to find anyone interested in practicing speaking I enjoy watching European soccer. My favorite team is Liverpool FC. I’m Jacqueline. I was born in Canada, grew up in China, and now lives in the United States. I’m a native speaker of both English and Mandarin, and I’m looking for someone to help me practice French. I love traveling and doing anything outdoor. Rowing is my main sport but I also enjoy running, hiking, cycling, and playing other sports. Besides athletics, I am also interested in space, astronomy, anything engineering related, creative writing, and art. hello ! i'm samaria, but everyone pretty much just calls me sam. i am fifteen years old. i like to read and watch random shows/videos. i love learning about other countries cultures and history! i have very basic level in spanish (i'm in spanish 3 at school) and am heavily interested in latin american culture. i want to learn spanish to begin my language learning journey, but eventually i hope to speak 4-5 languages. i also have interest in japanese language because i love non-romanized scripts, and the three alphebets is so cool to me. i also may be going on an exchange there next year.. hopefully !! but currently i'm only (seriously) studying spanish. i am looking for friends/language partners that, ideally, would be able to call from time to time. i would love to learn any language but those are my main two for now, however, if you speak another language and would like to be friends anyway, that's okay too. i'd love to help you learn english if possible.
