I am an English teacher who is still developing various language skills in order to be able to share my knowledge with my students who are both adults and teenagers. At home I'm a proud cat mom. Apart from that, I enjoy travelling and reading books, especially by Polish, British , Indian and Middle Eastern writers. Recently, I have often travelled to Turkey and I am planning to visit more of the Middle East so I'd love to get to know people who speak Turkish and want to practice with me as a beginner. Also, I am thinking about learning other languages of the countries that I really admire such as Armenian or Persian but I am not familiar with these languages so far. I'd like to learn Ukrainian too because it's a language my grandmother could speak as a child and there are many Ukrainian immigrants in my country nowadays.

Hi, I've lived in the US for most of my life and consider myself a native English speaker. I'm looking to meet people who can help me with my conversational skills as I plan to visit Korea later this year. Sadly, I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to my conversational skills in Korean, but hopefully you can help with that. In return, I think I can help you improve your English. It's been a few years, but I have tutored others, mostly in reading comprehension and grammar. About me, I love movies of all genres, some of my favorites are Gattaca, Sunshine and The Rock. Making friends with people just to learn a language is a bit too self-serving, isn’t it? Everyone’s time is precious. I don’t think chatting with native speakers improves your language skills, you’re just using the language you’ve learnt, rather than actually learning anything new. For goodness’ sake, go and take a proper course. Stop just saying ‘hi’ to people.
