Hi, my name is Kate. Iโm an English teacher and I find great pleasure in studying new foreign languages. I come from Ukraine, but due to the war I moved to Canada and currently live there. I studied Polish for 4 years at university, but the knowledge I got there is not enough for me. I also have a little experience living in Poland. I lived in Poznan for 2 months and am still in love with the city.
Iโve been studying Japanese for a while now and I can hold a conversation. I visited Japan this year and I canโt wait to visit it again. Iโm looking forward to finding new friends to support each other in our goals to master new languages.

Hey! My name is Ira (pronounced as 'ee-ra').
I'm currently based in Manchester but occasionally travel back home to Ukraine.
I can speak English at a decent level, but I'm always up for practicing it whenever possible.
As my side project, I'm learning Japanese; for now, it's more of a travel-oriented kind of learning, but I hope I will continue doing it after my Japan trip.
I also used to study Chinese for a few years, but I put it on hold temporarily.
