Hi, I’m Jackie, 62, retired and living in Easingwold about 15 miles north of York.
I have been learning French for many years but have never studied French formally. I find, when in France, that my words don’t come quickly enough and I find it difficult to understand conversations between native French speakers.
I live with my husband and 2 dogs and enjoy cycling, running, swimming, weight training, entertaining and of course, walking the dogs. I’m also a spinning instructor. I would love to practice speaking French with a native French speaker through WhatsApp video and help you speak and understand English.

중국어 (표준)I am 24 years old. I have been studying in a Master’s program in “Low-Carbon Development” in Moscow. I enjoy playing tennis and the guitar, doing yoga, reading books, and having deep conversations. I like nature and outdoor activities like hiking or jogging in the forest. In the future, I want to relocate to another country for 1–2 years because I want to broaden my professional experience in ESG, sustainability, and low-carbon development. These topics are still in their infancy in Russia, while in many other countries they are very popular fields, and it’s much easier to find a job. That’s why I decided to bring my English to a professional level and achieve conversational fluency with native speakers.
In addition, I did a 5-month exchange program in China (Suzhou, XJTLU) in the spring and summer of 2026, where I began learning Chinese. I fell in love with Chinese culture and language.
I would like either to improve my English with a native speaker who can patiently guide me and point out my mistakes (my level is a strong B2), or to talk with native Chinese speakers who are interested in Russian and are open to sometimes speaking Chinese with me (my level is around A1).
If you live in Russia, we can start with an online call and then meet in person. I prefer in-person conversation over online.

Ich habe an der Universität Übersetzen und Dolmetschen studiert und ich versuche, mein Deutsch durch Online-Gespräche zu verbessern. Ich habe seit der Schule und viele Jahre lang Deutsch studiert, aber ich habe keine Übung, sodass ich mich schäme, zu sprechen. Ich möchte das überstehen und ein B2-Niveau erreichen.
Über mich: Ich bin 23 und ich wohne in Spanien. Meine Hobbys sind Kochen, Lesen, Reisen, Feiern (ich liebe Techno-Musik auf der Party, aber ich höre alle Arten von Musik), Anime und Serien ansehen … Das Übliche, oder? :)

I’ve been waiting all winter to start complaining about the summer heat 🥵 – high temperatures make me realize I can’t go to hell.
Sometimes, I prefer to use my face for emoticons. I know the exact location of every food item in the supermarket 🛒. I manage time efficiently and my bills are all paid. 💲
I never seen to make the same mistake twice - I make it five or six times, just to be sure. I don’t believe in miracles. I rely on them. I cook thirty-minute brownies in twenty minutes. I wake up every morning with the excitement of wanting to go directly back to sleep.
The biggest lie I tell myself is „I don’t need to write that down, I‘ll remember it“ Years ago, I discovered the meaning of life but – of course – I forgot to write it down so don’t ask me about it.
I have spoken with former Czech president several times. I am humble. I have no need to brag.
