Hey I'm Michael and i'm an incoming finance/business student on a pre-law track in a university in the U.S. My hobbies are working out and travelling. I'm trying to become a corporate lawyer, so i'd love to connect with people who already in this type of career or who may see themselves in this career. Arabic: I have an A1 level and i am learning MSA right now, but eventually I would like to learn a Gulf dialect, but i would enjoy talking to any speaker. Slovene: My sister and I split an online course fee, so I am currently working through that, but would love to meet some people. I'm visiting Slovenia for the first time this summer, so maybe we could meet up in person. Spanish: I'm mainly learning this for work-related reasons, and also for travelling because I'd like to go to Latin America sometime soon. I also want to broaden my perspectives and learn more about the people who live there.

Hi, I'm Ava and I am from America. I speak English and I want to learn French and Spanish. However, I have severe anxiety when it comes to foreign language learning. I took French for only nine weeks in middle school because a hurtful teacher forced me to drop it so that I could spend more time with her which worsened my anxiety. I took Spanish for two years in high school but I never really got comfortable. I'm looking for someone who can teach me French from the beginning, as well as someone who can help me review the Spanish I remember so I can learn more. I need a lot of patience and encouragement. I need to stop having panic attacks about speaking foreign languages because I'm autistic and have a hyperfixation on foreign countries and their people. I also have loved French ever since I was little. I have some Spanish DNA as well so I'd like to learn more in order to be more comfortable in situations where I might need it. I'm also up for practicing English with people! If you have any questions about how we need to work on these languages together, I encourage you to ask. Hi! I'm student from China, majoring history and museology. I'm interested in slavic history, literature, and culture. I wanted to read my favorite books and history materials in original language,so I took up the Russian language... So far I have a poor vocabulary and a poorer understanding of grammar lol. Just a beginner. I have visited Russia, Belarus, Khazakstan, Uzbekistan, and am planning to visit more countries around the world. I have learned Ukrainian on Duolingo and with a tutor. (why there isn't Belarusian). Ukrainian sounds very cute! It's interesting to me to learn about the unique aspects of languages. My hobbies are reading and postcrossing.
