I'm Alex from Romania, a language and culture enthusiast currently living in South Korea!

I've loved languages since childhood—especially English—and have always been drawn to exploring new cultures. Another big passion of mine is film and video editing, which I’ve pursued for over 12 years. It’s actually how I first connected with Korean culture, even before visiting Korea for a music workshop last year. However, that trip deepened my love for Korea’s traditions, nature, and food.

I’ve been studying Korean on and off for a year, aiming to take the TOPIK, get a job, and settle here long-term as a software engineer. As of recently I am back in Korea and so I am ready to take on new challenges.

In exchange, I can help with English (my strongest suit), German, and Japanese. I’ve taught English to Korean learners before and love meaningful exchanges.

I have been living in Switzerland for 5 years and have recently starting studying German in a bit more structured way. Really need more practice — hence this add.

I’m also interested in practicing French/Spanish.

I have studied in the US and lived in the UK for 10+ years so happy to help with English practice.

In the last 25 years I was living abroad and working only in English. Even in Germany, I was working only with international companies and did not have the need to learn German. Now I want to change it, and to become fluent in German. I am interested to exchange with someone that wants to learn English and in exchange to speak with me in German. Hi, I'm Anna, I love reading, learning (from languages to programming to photography), I have been a passionate gamer for a long time - role-playing games, but also strategy and city-building games, I love watercolor painting despite being very bad at it, I am learning to juggle, because why not, I love watching all kinds of movies and anime, I am in a long-term relation with espresso, my dream is to paint a perfect Zen circle, I love Jung and Borges and poetry, I used to read philosophy for fun, but I'm in recovery, I love stories of all kinds, telling and listening to them.

Apart from the languages listed here, I graduated Japanese and while I am not at a native level of speaking, I would be able to help with some practice.

interested in language exchange, doesnt really matter the language itself. Im open to any, not interested in getting fluent in all of them but would like to be able to get some basics down.

I speak a few at different levels from fluent to beginner and just want to add a few more under my belt. thats pretty much it, if interested let me know.

Can help out with English speaking which it seems to be the most sought after for a beginner/foreigner but can help out with other languages.

I believe in speaking first and diving head first to feel comfortable in learning a new langauge.
