Hi, I’d like to practice my spoken English. I suggest meeting up to chat while walking—and maybe grabbing a coffee. I might feel self-conscious at first if I think a stranger could overhear me and I might look silly; that’s why I prefer walking—it keeps my body occupied. I’m thinking of at least half an hour of conversation for each person in the other’s native language. Ideally an hour. Ideally once a week; I’d prefer twice a week when possible, but no less than once every two weeks.
I’m not sure how to rate my proficiency level. I can read English and have the basics of conversation down, but I sorely lack practice. I have no requirements regarding my conversation partner's French level.
I am queer and want to connect with people who are open-minded and free of negative prejudices against minorities.
Bonjour, je souhaite pratiquer mon anglais à l'oral. Je propose de se retrouver pour converser en marchant, éventuellement prendre un café. Au début je pourrai être gêné si j'ai l'impression qu'un tier peu écouter ma conversation et que je suis ridicule, c'est pour ça que je préfaire marcher, et ça occupera mon corps. Je pense à minimum 1/2 heure de converation, chacun.e, dans la langue maternelle de l'autre. Idéalement 1h. Idéalement une fois par semaine. Je préfèrerais 2 fois par semaine quand c'est possible et pas moins d'une fois toute les 2 semaines.
Je ne sais pas qualifier mon niveau. Je sais lire l'anglais, j'ai les bases de la conversation mais je manque cruellement de pratique. Je n'ai pas de condition quant au niveau de français de mon interlocut.eur.rice.
Je suis queer, je souhaite communiquer avec des personnes tolérantes et sans a priori négatif sur les minorités.

벨라루스어Hi! I'm student from China, majoring history and museology.
I'm interested in slavic history, literature, and culture. I wanted to read my favorite books and history materials in original language,so I took up the Russian language... So far I have a poor vocabulary and a poorer understanding of grammar lol. Just a beginner. I have visited Russia, Belarus, Khazakstan, Uzbekistan, and am planning to visit more countries around the world.
I have learned Ukrainian on Duolingo and with a tutor. (why there isn't Belarusian). Ukrainian sounds very cute! It's interesting to me to learn about the unique aspects of languages.
My hobbies are reading and postcrossing. We can exchange postcards if you like it too.
And I want to find bros (I like to call people bros no matter what their gender is) to learn languages and talk together. We can make good friends! I'm open to all kinds of ideas, as long as we respect each other.
